Terms and Conditions of Entry
Meet Ollie and Elmo Competition

Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry to the Meet Ollie and Elmo Competition.
Entry is open to any parent or legal guardian of a child aged between 3 and 6 years of age as at 06/07/2008 on behalf of that child.
Due to the age of entrants, Nickelodeon may, at its discretion, award any prize to a child’s parent or legal guardian.
Employees and immediate families of Nickelodeon Australia and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences from 9:00am on Monday 16th June, 2008 and entries close at 11:59pm on Sunday 6th July, 2008.
There is one method of entry for this competition:
To enter, entrants must log onto the Nick Jr. website (www.nickjr.com.au) and fill out information form and register. If the entrant has previously registered their details they are only required to enter their NickName and Password in order to enter the competition.
Entrants must also answer the question in 25 words or less: Why your preschooler would love to meet Ollie and Elmo?
The competition is a game of skill.
The competition will be judged on July 7th 2008.
Winners will be notified by phone, mail or email. All reasonable efforts will be taken to contact prize winners.
If a prize winner is uncontactable or fails to collect the prize, Nickelodeon may award the prize to another entrant.
The judging will be held at Nickelodeon offices, Building 3, 5 Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde, NSW 2113.
There will be 1 major winners, each winning:
Total prize value is $2,700.00
When travelling to Sydney, and throughout their stay in Sydney the major prize winners must be accompanied at all times by their parent or legal guardian.
Entrants must be available to travel from July 15th – 22nd, 2008 in order to accept the prize. These dates are at the complete discretion of Nickelodeon.
All prize winners and other children of school age participating in the acceptance of any prize (if applicable) will need to provide Nickelodeon with a letter from their parent or guardian giving express permission for them to participate, and a letter from their school principal giving permission for them to miss school in order to participate as per requirements of the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian.
Selection of airline, departure and arrival destination, flight times and accommodation venue is at Nickelodeon’s discretion upon time of booking.
Flight may only be taken from the winners’ nearest Australian major airport to Sydney.
If the winner resides within a 2-hour drive or 200km from Sydney City, airfares, accommodation, and transfers are not included in the prize.
Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. The winner of the prize (and their travel companions) will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize.
All components of the prize must be taken together. Travel Insurance is not included. Travel Prize does not include meals, spending money, or transport to and from departure and arrival points. All other ancillary and travel costs are the winner’s responsibility. All additional costs incurred whereby the prize winner wishes to make variations to the travel are the winner’s responsibility and must be booked separately by the winner. All travel variations are subject to approval by Nickelodeon upon booking. Travel variations include, but are not limited to extension of travel duration, travellers outside of the age restriction and additional travellers.
The prize may be awarded, at the absolute discretion of the promoter, to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The promoter may require the major prize winner and/or their guardian to sign a release form prior to departure.
The promoter reserves the right to use all of the winners’ names, voices, and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without additional compensation.
Nickelodeon shall not be liable for any expense, injury loss or damage, whatsoever, (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) to persons or property that is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or in the course of using any of the prizes.
No responsibility will be taken for late or lost entries.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an item of similar value.
By entering the competition, each entrant consents to their personal information being entered onto Nickelodeon’s database. All personal information will only be used in accordance with Nickelodeon’s privacy policy.
All entries become the property of Nickelodeon Australia. Nickelodeon may use the entries in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, or payment, or other compensation to the entrant.
