1. Gather a group of your friends and choose one person to be the “Red Light”.
2. Everyone must line up in a straight line with the “Red Light” person standing about 8 metres away, with their back facing the line.
3. The “Red Light” person yells “Green Light!” in which case everyone from the line moves towards the “Red Light” person. At any point, the “Red Light” person may yell “Red Light!” and turn around, in which case anyone who is caught still moving is considered ‘out’.
4. Play resumes when the “Red Light” person turns back around and yells “Green Light”.
5. The “Red Light” person wins if everyone is ‘out’ before anyone is able to touch him/her. Otherwise, the first player to touch the “Red Light” person wins the game and earns the right to be "Red Light" for the next game.
